Kyle Kiser - Founder of Clarity Language Access / ASL Teacher 

Mr. Kiser is a proud Deaf/HOH Shelby, NC, citizen who holds an MS degree in Deaf Studies & Deaf Education and a BA degree in American Sign Language. He has a passion for teaching ASL, Deaf History, and ASL Linguistics. He also enjoys raising Deaf/Hard of Hearing awareness. He founded Clarity Language Access in Shelby, NC, in order to provide the best interpreting services for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community in Cleveland County and surrounding areas. He wants to provide you the best customer service at a reasonable price.

​Kimberly Hendrix - American Sign Language Instructor

Mrs. Kimberly Hendrix has been Deaf since the age of three years old. She holds an MS Degree in Deaf Studies/Deaf Education and an BA degree in American Sign Language. She has a passion for teaching and has 22 years of experience. She worked the past 22 years for Cleveland Community College and is now currently teaching at Blue Ridge Community College. She teaches all language levels, culture, and linguistics of ASL.  Her heart is in the culture of the Deaf community and its language. We are excited to have Mrs. Hendrix on board to teach with us! Ellen McCraw - Office Manager  

Ms. McCraw is a native of Cleveland County, currently a visual arts teacher in Cleveland County.  Ms. McCraw holds a BA degree in Communications and a BFA degree, with a concentration in 2-D design from Gardner-Webb University.  She has a passion for art history and teaching problem solving through art.  In her spare time she loves to create her own art as well as travel, especially to New York City. She believes the arts and music gives individuals the ability to communicate, be expressive and feel successful.
