At Clarity Language Access, LLC, the health and safety of our customers is our top priority, not only during these concerning times with the spread of COVID-19, but always. Our team is prepared to continue doing business as usual while following the CDC guidelines to navigate this situation as safely as possible for customers and employees alike. With that being said, we feel it is our responsibility to share our COVID-19 guidelines with you so that you understand Clarity Language Access, LLC’s response to COVID-19 and how we’re handling it as far as our customers go.

Follow the 3 Ws During COVID-19

The Department of Health and Human Services is asking people to remember the 3 Ws as we navigate the current pandemic. At Clarity Language Access, LLC, we will be enforcing the 3 Ws for employees and customers alike as we continue to operate. Following these three steps outlined by the Department of Health and Human Services, we can continue to flatten the curve and even slow the spread of COVID-19. Remember the 3 Ws!
  • Wear: Always wear a cloth mask to cover your nose and mouth.
  • Wait: Always wait 6 feet apart and avoid close contact with others.
  • Wash: Wash your hands thoroughly and use hand sanitizer regularly.
Not only can following the 3 Ws protect our customers and employees but these steps also ensure the safety of our families and neighbors.

Following State Regulations

Aside from following the 3 Ws, Clarity Language Access, LLC follows all state regulations regarding the operation of our business during the current pandemic. At Clarity Language Access, LLC, we provide both in-person interpreting services as well as remote options (video and telephonic). While we do not offer these remote options necessarily because of COVID-19, these remote options may be preferred by our customers during the current pandemic. That being said, we are well aware that many of our clients still require in-person interpretation services. For this reason, Clarity Language Access, LLC recognizes the need to safely serve the community through our current COVID-19 guidelines. Interested in learning more about what we’re doing each day to keep both our customers and employees safe? Here are the state regulated actions we are taking to keep everyone safe and healthy!
  • Mandatory Face Masks: At Clarity Language Access, LLC, we require all employees and customers to wear face masks at all times. This protects others in case you are infected and unaware of it. By wearing a face mask at all times while in our facility, we can effectively limit the spread of COVID-19.
  • Mandatory Temperature Logs: In operating under state regulations, Clarity Language Access, LLC will be keeping daily temperature logs for all of our employees. Each person’s temperature will be taken each day before going to an assignment. In doing so, we can keep a close eye on any possible warning signs and better protect our customers while they are in our facility.
  • Distant Seating: In accordance with state regulations, we will be practicing distant seating at Clarity Language Access, LLC. Both employees and clients will be seated a safe distance apart in accordance with the CDC’s recommendations to limit the spread of COVID-19.
  • Hand Sanitizer: Finally, all employees at Clarity Language Access, LLC will be required to apply hand sanitizer regularly and before each and every encounter with a client.

How to Protect Yourself and Others

At Clarity Language Access, LLC, we understand that knowledge is power when it comes to limiting the spread of COVID-19, keeping you and your family safe. As we continue to operate as usual under strict state regulations and taking the recommendations from the CDC into account, we believe it is important that you know what you can do to protect yourself and others. Please consider these important recommendations from the CDC:
  • Be aware of how COVID-19 is spread: Due to the fact that there is no current vaccine for COVID-19, it’s important that you understand that the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. Click here to learn more about how COVID-19 is spread.
  • Wash your hands often: The CDC recommends washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after being in public, after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Avoid close contact: Within the home, avoid close contact with people that are sick. If possible, maintain 6 feet between you and a person who is sick. Outside of the home, put 6 feet of distance between yourself and those that do not live in your household. It’s important to remember that people without symptoms may still be able to spread the virus.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a mask around others: A mask is meant to protect other people in case you are infected. Everyone should wear a mask in public settings, especially around those that do not live in your household. DO NOT use a mask intended for a healthcare worker. Currently, surgical masks and N95 respirators are critical supplies that should be reserved for healthcare workers and other first responders.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes: Always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow and do not spit.
  • Clean and disinfect: Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces on a daily basis. This includes tables, light switches, doorknobs, countertops, phones, toilets, sinks, keyboards, desks, handles, and faucets.
  • Monitor health daily: Always stay on the lookout for symptoms. Watch for symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19. Take your temperature on a daily basis.
  • Protect your health this flu season: It’s likely that flu viruses and the virus that causes COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter. This means that getting a flu vaccine during 2020-2021 is now more important than ever.
